Treasurer wanted to join our Board of Trustees
The Board of the Bishop Simeon Trust are looking for a new Treasurer to join them and do their bit to help build a better future for vulnerable children in South Africa.
If you have a financial qualification, have experience with financial control processes and possess a genuine nterest in South Africa, and will be motivated by supporting all aspects of our work for children, then this may well be the right role for you.
The Treasurer role is a voluntary position and will be key to supporting our Director in managing the financial affairs of the charity, ensuring that we maintain transparent records, fully comply with all regulations which apply and ensure that our supporters funding is used in an appropriate manner and is directed at making the biggest difference in the lives of children in South Africa.

Applicants should submit a recent CV along with a covering letter of no more than 2 pages outlining their motivation and interest in joining the Board of the Bishop Simeon Trust. This should be sent to the Chair, Lucie Pursell, luciepursell@outlook.com no later than 5pm on Friday 25th February 2022 with the subject heading: Treasurer Application.
Final candidates will be selected and invited to attend an initial Skype interview shortly thereafter. The final candidate will then be invited to meet with other Board members. A final decision will then be taken by both the Board and the candidate following this.
