Could you be the next Director of the Bishop Simeon Trust?

After more than seven years of service with the Bishop Simeon Trust our current Director, Martin Keat, is moving on.

That means that the Trust is seeking a new Director to lead, develop and resource our work for vulnerable children in South Africa. They will build on more than three decades of support, stretching back to the days of Apartheid.

The Role

We're looking to appoint a Director who can provide strategic vision and leadership to the operation and development of the Trust, take overall responsibility for fundraising and for the management and administration of the Trust, working with the Board to help enable them to fulfil their governance duties.

The Ideal Candidate

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody with a broad range of skills who can demonstrate a passion for youth empowerment, coproduction, children’s rights and protection in South Africa.  The successful candidate will be able to lead the organisation, innovate, build on the Trust’s history and strategic vision, as well as the strong partnerships it has to deliver its work. They must be a capable fundraiser, able to communicate with a variety of audiences either in person or using social media, newsletters and other publications.
