Stuck for motivation in this wet, miserable January?  Here's some ideas to get you inspired and jumping out of your seat to get involved with HIV/AIDS charity BSTrust

Whether it's running, cycling or walking, we have a charity challenge that's just up your street!

  1. TRAT- we run the fastest charity fully supported LEJOG (Lands End to John O Groats) cycle ride that we know about.  All of that distance in only 6 days.  It's certainly not a challenge for the faint hearted, but one of those lifetime ambitions for many cyclists.  We can help you make that dream come true.  Click here for more details: TRAT
  2. Ratrace road trip.  Another charity cycle ride this time organised by the incredible RatRace team.  London to Edinburgh in 4 days taking in a more scenic route across the country.  Less miles, less sponsorship but still an enormous challenge for most.  Click here for more details: RatRace
  3. How about a tandem ride?  Not on a bicycle this time but from the sky!  Tandem skydives are the ultimate exhilarating experience and you can book yours here Just click on the link, scroll down, find us and follow the instructions to book your place.
  4. Oxford Half Marathon.  If running is more your thing, you can book yourself onto any half marathon or whole marathon and run for BSTrust.  Here's a site where you can find a race near to you.  Or you can join our team and run in the increasing popular 4th Oxford Half Marathon - Date in October 2014 TBC.  Register your interest here
  5. Or maybe you like a quiet ramble with a hip flask and beautiful scenery.  Then the Red Kite Ramble is for you.  Choose between 6,11 or 17 mile courses.  Sunday 22nd June

Join in the celebrations in 2014 as we have our 25th Anniversary.

  1. Celebrations in 2014 will include an event hosted by one of our major patrons both here in the UK and in South Africa - More details to follow
  2. Ssshh  Silence please.  This is sure to be a hit with parents and teachers alike!  On the 27th April 2014 when we world commemorates 20 years of democracy in South Africa, we  we are holding a sponsored silence.  Click here to register
  3. Mandela Day.  The legacy of Nelson Mandela has impacted the world.  Celebrate with us on Mandela Day, 18th July 2014, when we remember the 67 years he spent working towards reconciliation in South Africa.  Invite 67 people to a party, donate 67 minutes of your time to BSTrust, Register here

Or maybe 2014 is your year to volunteer.  There are lots of ways to join the team and be a part of making a difference to the lives of those we help in South Africa.  If you like to have a party, enjoy raising money, have skills to support our admin staff, have a group of people to talk to or like to do fun things to raise money with your friends, we would really love to hear from you.   To join our growing team of volunteers who dedicate their precious time and wealth of expertise register here
