Churches - Are you giving?

Posted by Martin Keat

Who gives at Christmas? You do!

Congregations at Churches all across the UK and the world multiply at Christmas along with their giving and we want your church to celebrate with BSTrust.

We have enjoyed a glorious summer this year and the sunshine isn't going away but is clinging on to the last few days and weeks; eeking out its last few rays.  But soon our thoughts will be turning to the clocks going back, the nights drawing in, hot chocolates around cosy fires and .... Christmas.

Christmas is the time of year when more and more people go to church.  There are the proud parents of the school shepherd at the nativity, the 'want to be' singers at the Carol services, those who like to burn the candle at both ends at the Midnight Mass and the climax of the festivities on Christmas Day itself.  And inevitably there will be the offering plate at each of these service.  Have you ever thought about where your money goes to?  Sometimes the church giving goes to the church building, sometimes the church workers and often much of the giving offering is donated to worth causes the churches support.

We want your church to support the growing work of Bishop Simeon Trust this Christmas time and give to help vulnerable children in South Africa both this Christmas time and for generations and generations to come.

How you can be involved.

We're in for Church Giving 2014 and would like to offer one of our Church Offerings this Christmas time

to the Bishop Simeon Trust

A big part of our work here at the Bishop Simeon trust is committed to assuring that children and young adults in South Africa are able to challenge and conquer those obstacles in their lives that prevent them from accessing education and assuring that they can  make the most of the potential they possess to thrive and build a positive future.
