Celebrating 30 Years of the Bishop Simeon Trust

Posted by Martin Keat

On 27th November we marked the 30th anniversary of the Bishop Simeon Trust with a celebration event very kindly hosted by the South African High Commission. It was a wonderful occasion and very fitting for so many of our long term supporters to join us inside the High Commission, particularly when they had spent so many hours demonstrating outside during the time of Apartheid!
We're very grateful to all those supporters who could join us there, our brilliant founders, Judith and Clive Scott, as well as Her Excellency Nomatamba Tembo for hosting us. If you could not join us on the night please click on the image below so that you can see a little of the event itself.
We will continue to mark our 30th anniversary throughout 2020, so please stay in touch to find out about further opportunities to celebrate with us!

A big part of our work here at the Bishop Simeon trust is committed to assuring that children and young adults in South Africa are able to challenge and conquer those obstacles in their lives that prevent them from accessing education and assuring that they can  make the most of the potential they possess to thrive and build a positive future.
